Pain can leave us with feelings we struggle to name and questions we struggle to ask. We may carry grief, disappointment, regret, or memories that surface when life becomes quiet.
Writing gives us a place to begin putting those experiences into words. A journal can hold an unfinished thought, an honest prayer, a difficult question, or a small moment of gratitude.
Sometimes the first sentence is, “Today, this is what is on my heart.”
